The preschool educators are a professional team with a wide range of qualifications and experience. These qualifications are outlined in the preschool foyer on the educator photo board.
If at any time you wish to discuss your child, their progress, or the preschool curriculum with an educator, please feel free to do so, either informally, or by making an appointment so that the educator can arrange to be away from the children to give you their full attention. An appointment is also useful in ensuring that your child does not overhear any discussions that are of a sensitive nature.
The children each have their own group and dedicated educator who they will build a relationship with and care for your child. Through this relationship each child will develop their sense of belonging to the group. The educator’s focus children will form small groups who at particular times will come together to strengthen their relationships and social skills, engaging in age appropriate experiences such as stories, literacy and maths games, music, and movement. These smaller group structures benefit the children with more personalised experiences and individual time with educators.
All educators work together as a team to document children’s learning through learning stories & developmental observations which are carried out regularly throughout the year.
Our service has a higher child to staff ratio that allows us to provide your child/ren with quality care and individual teaching experiences. We also have highly qualified and experienced casual educators who are very familiar to the service who work when required.
At all times we have a range of qualified and experienced educators.
Families are notified of who their child’s room educators are and who their child’s group time teacher is during first term/upon enrolment.
